I Think You Should Know that You're Legal...

Ever wondered if you even belonged on this planet?! I know I have.. be it my quirks, and perks =) or something as simple as how I perceive and process any given day or situation...people are different.  I have laughed way too hard in the wrong moments, and cried watching the Animal Channel because I can't stand to watch when the baby deer loses mother deer and the lion comes and ---- you know what happens next. My heart can't take it!!! :( #circleoflife

But I've digressed. Back to the point. God is so creative in His placement that we
often come into contact & even do life with people who are so different from ourselves. At times, it's wonderful, but other times it can cause us to question our belonging. It may cause us to run
from problems we carry the very solutions to, and sometimes, we feel like aliens in our own homes - or countries, :-/  But - what if I told you that every bit of your different takes nothing away?  ...That your difference only validates the reason for your existence.

You are God's very intention.


..In a world that celebrates sameness and can be a bit picky when it comes to "unique"..... I pray you never count yourself out -- ever. That you come to terms with the fact that your difference -  was intentional.  That you were purposefully thought up by a genius God whose joy it is to see you come to full life.. That from one end of creation to the next -- from the artist to the scientist, the athlete to the musician, the humorous personality to the more serious - the kid who loves desserts to the kid who will skip a sweet every time -- the details that were compiled to create YOU were deliberate. That in God's function, just as He created the heavens and the earth, the water and dry land - night, and day, He looked down and thought the world would need YOU.

"The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." 

 (Job 33:4) 

 

I think you should know you have a right to the air that you breathe. That you were in God's mind, and will, before you ever made it out of your mother's womb. His heart is packed and yet there's ample space for you. His will is good and you are absolutely found in it.

You belong in this world by virtue of birth. He saw a need and He filled it with YOU.

The original. Not the replica, manipulated or coerced. Not passive, hidden, or ashamed.

YOU. 
Free. Whole. Unique. Celebrated. Passionate. Loved & Alive.
 

I think you should know that you're legal :)

You were in God's blueprint for this moment, this lifetime.

You are what your Father has prescribed - and what this world needs is a good DOSE of YOU.
